Tuckshop

​​​The Gladstone West State School Tuckshop operates every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Our Tuckshop Convenor is Mrs Kay Castles who works with a wonderful team of volunteers to prepare a large variety of fresh, tasty lunches for our students.

Prep, years 1, 2, and 3 order their first or second break items by bringing a paper bag with the following written on it: 1st break or 2nd break (two bags if both required), student name, roll class, menu items required, amount enclosed. The order should be given to teachers before 9.00 am. Year 1, 2, and 3 students can only order ice blocks with 2nd break orders. 

Years 4, 5 and 6 may order their first and second break choices in the same way as Prep to year 3, however they need to personally hand their paper bags to the Tuckshop before 9.00am. This will assure them of their choice. Children will collect their orders from the Tuckshop at the breaks via a quick serve queue. Children who haven’t ordered may purchase from the Tuckshop but must realise their choice may be restricted. Years 5 to 6 may purchase ice blocks at 1.30pm from the Tuckshop.

• For catering reasons it is preferred all grades pre-order

• Parents need to supply a separate bag for each break
